A freight/trip carries its status through a strict lifecycle — nothing skips a stage, and every stage is visible to whoever needs it.
Booked
Party, route, cargo and financials entered. Freight cost, GST and party advance captured up front.
Dispatch
Driver and vehicle assigned — auto-resolved from the driver's current vehicle, with an audit flag if a dispatcher overrides it.
In Transit
Trip expenses logged against 7 categories — diesel, FastTag, driver advance, tolls, loading, maintenance, misc.
Delivered
Trip marked delivered against the expected delivery date, closing the operational side of the record.
Completed
Driver settlement status tracked through to Paid — Pending, Partially Paid, Paid. The record is now financially closed.
